Chinese Video/Computer Games

It's specifically cinematic AAA games like Black Myth Wukong or the God of War-style games that people are still skeptical about. To add to this, there has only been one domestic game that managed to do that so far, and that was Black Myth Wukong, which was made by a bunch of ex-Tencent devs. It's hard for people to put trust in NetEase or Tencent when it comes to these types of games due to their long history of drama and built-up distrust from the community.

I will say, though, the new NetEase CEO has been doing very well as seen with Marvel Rivals, and if their Blood Message game succeeds, then we can potentially see our own version of Naughty Dogs and an even stronger push towards cinematic AAA games.

What about Wu Chang Fallen Feathers.
Nakara blade point looks pretty good too.

Wu Chang was an AA game that was unfortunately marred by story controversy when it was released. Unfortunately, I don't think it will ever receive any acclaim or positive recognition in the foreseeable future. The damage is already done.

Naraka is a good game, but it's a free-to-play game just like Marvel Rivals. It's not controversy-free, but it's doing pretty well. I also don't think it will matter since it's just another free-to-play title.

Until either Tencent or Netease releases a AAA game that is on par with the best Western studio, they will continue to receive stigma from the playerbase, and no AA or free-to-play game, no matter how good, will change that. Newer and smaller publishers don't get this stigma as much, and people are more positive towards their upcoming AAA games.
