According to this poster (pretty good track record), harmony pc project has been going for a while and they will be hiring for GPU software. So, do expect standalone GPU this year imo

Expect a whole line of new chips and system products for PC

I think a standalone GPU might be a bit too soon. But an integrated GPU like apples m-series socs yeah I could expect them to release that this year.
Mostly because Huawei can only get a first impression once especially if you are going to compete with AMD and Nvidia.

Im more wondering what sort of direction will huawei take with HMOS, will huawei take the apple route and make HMOS exclusive for huawei hardware or will they take the Microsoft route where one can buy HMOS activation key and install it onyour own modern hardware like windows.

I expect OpenHarmony to more function like the Linux desktop distro wasteland.

i don't know for sure they will have standalone GPU, but whatever they design need to handle the rendering requirement of PC, so it would need to be more powerful than what's up K9000S

In a PC HiSilicon can just take the 5G modem and AI blocks out from the SoC and use the area for more CPU or GPU cores.
Basically the upper half of the chip and the DSP block in the bottom aren't necessary.

I think PC Kirin chip will be larger than 110mm^2. You can have 100mm^2 chiplets and then stack them together.

Instead of having 1 large Taishan core + 3 medium Taishan core & 4 A510, you'd probably have 4 large Taishan core and 4 medium Taishan cores.
