New company formed for EUV LPP laser. source at Shanghai, shenguang laser.
It's not EUV light source but the laser used to produce EUV light source. Still need someone else to do the EUV generation vessel.

此次四家单位注资成立公司,以院地合作的模式,通过政府先导性投入、地方政府空间承载,发挥资源整合、优势互补的作用,合力推动激光技术研发与成果转化。

一方面,该平台将加快关键核心技术的突破,构建完善的创新产业链,输出产业技术,另一方面,培育龙头企业,形成上海激光产业技术创新谷,孵化企业20家以上,培育打造激光领域的独角兽企业,10到15年内产值规模争取达到100个亿,辐射长三角,带动相关产业规模1000亿以上。再一方面,打造区域性的集成电路产业人才高地,集聚全球高端人才,初期研发团队20人,两年内形成100人左右的团队规模,五年内达到200人。

据文汇网报道,未来,平台将逐步攻克超短脉冲激光、准分子激光和EUV光刻光源。运用于半导体集成电路领域激光装备技术研发、高端智能制造装备技术研发、高端激光医疗装备技术研发、智能探测激光装备技术研发等领域。

Thanks, I didn't realise I am Brigadier now ;)

It is true that the majority of Intel CPU are 14nm process node. Only small percentage of mobile Intel CPU is on 10nm process, and is well known to have issues.

This is the latest Intel i7 11th generation desktop, launch date Q1 2021. High end i7 desktop with 8 cores/16 Threads ... you see still with 14nm process node :rolleyes:

Smee still delivering 90nm krF lithography this year.

4 sets from keyi laser. Looks there still alot of demands at this node.
1 set goes to smee, maybe other goes to cetc as well.
Based on numbers last year, KrF usage is higher than ArF 10%

第一台RS244S1#KrF产品已交付给整机单位SMEE公司使用,目前运行情况良好。
第二台RS244S2#KrF产品2021年1月份交付,已完成整机测试,通讯接口修改完成。目前安排EMC测试。
第三台RS244S3#KrF产品2021年3月份交付,目前进行整机装配集成。
第四台RS244S4#KrF产品2021年3月份交付,目前进行KrF4#SEMI认证整改。

Popularization and application 4kHz 40W KrF excimer laser product is a high repetition frequency, narrow linewidth, high energy KrF excimer laser. The laser wavelength is 248nm, the average power is 40W, and the repetition frequency is 4KHz. The whole set of products is independently developed and designed by domestic, and small batch production has been realized. At present, the promotion and application is mainly the application engineering of domestic lithography machine, and the goal is to realize the production line verification of domestic lithography machine. A total of 4 light source products will be involved from 2020 to 2021.

The first RS244S1#KrF product has been delivered to the complete machine unit SMEE Company, and it is currently operating in good condition.

The second RS244S2#KrF product will be delivered in January 2021. The whole machine has been tested and the communication interface has been modified. EMC testing is currently arranged.

The third RS244S3#KrF product will be delivered in March 2021, and the whole machine is currently being assembled and integrated.

The fourth RS244S4#KrF product will be delivered in March 2021 and is currently undergoing KrF4#SEMI certification rectification.

This type of news all over the mainland IT forum. Sounds like you are someone from out of the loop.
I work for a law firm in Houston so take from that what you will. I'm not too familiar with Chinese language sources

Just curious which area uses analog chips?

Radio applications like smartphone radio chips for example. Another example would be audio or video DACs or audio ADCs.
A lot time ago it was also used for compute but has gotten out of favor since like the 1970s.

Anyway, in the past , all those anti China guys are all pretty knowledgable about China and study Chinese . They study alot about China so they like find out China weak points.
Chang, Bannon, Pillsbury, ratner..etc they all went that route.

A lot of military sites have been banned from leaking national secrets. It looks like something big is going on. All spies snooping around will have to work harder.
