Is china 28nm lithography equipment coming out end of this year? unlike previous, Huawei is helping out and is strong in software, With its AI and big data approach, it can help out the equipment.

Is kind of incredible that the exports of lithography equipment to China from the Netherlands is probably higher than all of their other exports combine.

China already accounts for 46% of ASML sales. ASML’s order backlog was $40 billion this year, perhaps half to China

yes. probably half of ASML sales this year goes to China.. it seems, Chinese fabs now more than enough litho machines to continue their expansion.

Downplaying, uplaying, pessimistic, optimistic doesn't matter, asking someone for sources as far I understand is not denigrating them. I think to the contrary providing sources will only enrich this thread. Or at least the information should be distilled in a way that make logic sense without giving too much if the person wants. IDK.

If we are going that route, a insider in Shanghai told me that that Huawei and SMIC are making 7-5nm chips in high volume using a shinny Free Electron Laser EUV machine. Sources? I don't want to stir the pot.
Exactly. Special inside knowledge is fine but knowing the reasons and sources is better. Even if not false how can you be sure the insider knowledge is representative?

What is the production capacity of YMTC? Do you have any source?
Well according to electronics weekly YMTC was outputting 200K wafers per month in their fab2 facility last year, that is between their 128L and 232L products, I could assume that they could be outputting around 50K wpm of 232L NAND in just that facility.
Well fab2 and 3 is already complete so I assume they already running.
The original plan of YMTC was to build Fab 1, and eventually expand the site with another two Fabs (2 and 3). Each fab was originally planned to have 100K wafers per month capacity. 300K wafers per month total capacity with all three fabs when the site is complete. If you look at the satellite photos, Fab 1 and Fab 2 have been built and "Fab 3" is still a vacant lot with no building in it.

Fab 2 last I checked seemed to have half the air conditioner units attached to the building operational. I would guess that Fab 1 is fully operational with 100K wafers per month, and Fab 2 likely is operating at half capacity with 50K wafers per month. So my guess would be 150K wafers per month total right now.
