Yes, they have the entire 5g supply chain under control, but capacity is an issue in some cases. You don't need 7nm for 5g towers.

Yep, you don't go for advanced packaging until the foundries can't fab higher density stuff anymore.
Higher density imo won't resolve any heating or power consumption issues you get, but it should improve peak performance by improving on cell density going from 2d to 3d.
So one of the key innovation this time is just Huawei heat dissipation tech.

There's no two ways about it at this point, this whole past week has been a technology Suez Canal moment for USA.
is this the reason why the US prevents China from getting advanced chips? she should know that chips for military use are waaaayyyy behind chips for commercial use. the F35 uses 95nm chips. the Iphone uses 4nm. China can produce 7nm so China is all good for military applications.
