It continues to amaze me that people just don't realize what has been accomplished here.
I guess there really only is a philosophical reply to that, and this is the only thing I can think of.
In this game, there is no official scoreboard, or playing field, but we all know there is a contest, a struggle, and these past two weeks made me realize again how bitter this fight really is.
That Mate 60 Pro, symbolizes that a new day is born for China Inc., and that is official.
Since that phone is the Huawei brand, and they have been subject to more abuse that anyone else in China Inc., just that is human nature to make the spotlight on them.
This is not really Huawei breaking sanctions, this is Chinese IC breaking all the sanctions. Soon they will break more. So much will be broken, it will remake the world, in IC at least.
Also, the point I would like to raise, is the network and the phone.
To me, and this is correct, the building of a national standalone 5G network, is far more important than if Huawei sold a 5G phone. Incidentally, we should know who built that network in the first place, where they tested the speed of that the new Huawei 5G phone.
What I suspect is that the network, as a concept, is too abstract. The phone is real because we have on in our hands, but the network? Radio waves, basestations, cables, antenna, then it becomes like something too nebulous to really appreciate.
The appearance of Mate 60 Pro and what is inside of it, is a breakthrough for China Inc., the integrated circuits supply chain inside China. What is a supply chain? It is a network of companies. There is that word again, network.
Anyways, there should be no doubt, that this was a total team effort, and China Inc. is on the march again.
