According to this article, Tsinghua’s EUV maglev wager stage passed acceptance test in 2021
Yup all the ingredients and secret sauce are there except for the power source, at least there is a roadmap, LPP in 2024 then SSMB in 2025/26, SSA800A and its future iteration will have to carry the load until then.

And IF the economic situation worsen until 2026 then China have the chance to catch up, as capital expenditure of TSMC, Samsung and Intel doesn't justify the massive investment needed to stay ahead. I like the Chinese strategy, it was taken from Mao's book of encircling the city from the countryside, building base from old nodes then overwhelm them. Now I know why the CCP leadership are so calm and collected, they have put the American on the defensive, Like moving the enemy in the HuaiHai campaign putting them in a difficult spot.

implement standard for sub-6GHz GaN RF device reliability, GaN MMW front-end chip testing & GaN RF device microwave characteristics test method & GaN PA module for 5G base station.

committee includes CETC 13th institute, Bowei IC, Beijing Guolian, Peking university, Xidian, CAS, Xiamen Sanan, ZTE and others

Looks like mass producing GaN RF device for 5.5G/6G is coming along nicely

story here on Sino MCU micro
who has sold over 8B chips by end of 2022

By 2016, it was already sell 800m chips

Looks like it first was working with Huahong on MCU using various Flash, EEPROM & MTP.

And by 2019, it's moving to 32-bit MCUs

This seems like the kind of company that Huahong had in mind when it planned out the new 12-inch fab. fabless cannot stay competitive by continuing to supply 90nm flash mcu, especially for EVs.

If fabless like this do not move to more advanced nodes like 28/40nm, they will loose out to newer fabless who are designing chips in the 28/40nm node.

Innoscience_300mSales_Aug2023.png

Innoscience sales continues to blossom. Now 300 million GaN chips delivered, which is 3x what Navitas has delivered. They hit 100m in December and then sold another 50m in Q1. Looks like they sold close to 100m in Q2 and continued that into Q3.

Just absolutely dominating this critical new market.

They are also up to 15k wpm.
