Some info from the public environmental report of RSLaser, looks like that the project for the mass production and refurbishing of high power high repetition rate KrF, ArF, ArFi excimer lasers, given the size scope of this project, is to mass produce a decent quantity of excimer laser powered lithography machines every year, I don't know how much of each type of litho machine the market leader in China, ASML, sells in China, but this annual production needs to come at the expense of someone else, RSLaser, Guowang Optical and CheerTech cannot have a sizable annual production of subsystems and not sell. it will make no sense.

Another thing is that ASML certificate these companies as suppliers for the Chinese market.​

Am I reading that correctly, 16 ARF excimer lasers per year? Is that the initial production capacity they have planned?

No, that is just bottles of ultrapure gases.
They will set to produce ~100 sets of excimer lasers to start and refurbish like 300.
If we assume a excimer laser per litho machine, that will traduce to roughly the same for the production of litho machines per year. Assuming the current distribution of litho machines sales, that mean that the majority will be KrF litho machines, followed by immersion and dry ArF litho machines.

Where do u see that RSlaser is a certified supplier for ASML? Does the ArF laser need to be stronger for DUVi vs DUV?
It is pretty fast that it will start production in Nov 2024.

What said that ASML could certify Chinese subsystems providers to assemble China specific lithography machines for the Chinese market and avoiding the geopolitics of ceding the Chinese market.
ASML shipped 193 DUV machines in 2022, If RSLaser is shipping 100 excimers laser, that could translate 100 DUV machines annually, following ASML sales structure that would be like 50 KrF, 35 Arfi and 15 ArF DUV machines annually, of course if others subsystem providers can keep up, but it would certainly make SMEE the second lithography company in the world, overnight, ahead of Nikon and Canon, Maybe not in technology, for now, but definitely on sales. too bad that they are not publicly traded. Those numbers, if enforced, could come at the expense of the market leader in China.​

i think document says 95?

Also, I think SMEE production more geared toward Arfi/Arf scanners. So they are probably looking to take over most of China's Arf/Arfi market if that's the case. Of course, getting to the pt would be several yrs away

Correct Prof ,also That would have solve their supply chain issue massively.

The first IC photomask project in Zhejiang, Ruijing Semiconductor completed the first phase of delivery!​


On June 20th, as the first project settled in Zhenhai Integrated Circuit Industrial Park, Ningbo, Zhejiang, Regent Semiconductor successfully completed the first phase of delivery. According to the Economic Daily, this means that Ningbo Zhenhai District has the first IC photomask project in the province, and it also marks the official opening of Zhenhai Integrated Circuit Industrial Park.

According to Mingzhou Group, Ruijing Semiconductor project is expected to be put into production before the end of this year. According to the plan, the first phase of Ruijing Semiconductor Project will produce 2,000 masks per month, achieving an annual output value of 1.2 billion yuan; the second phase will increase the monthly production capacity of 2,000 pieces on the basis of the first phase, and increase the annual output value of 1.8 billion yuan.

I'm now thinking about the billions of dollars each year that the Chinese government poured in to the semiconductor industry over a period of two decades with very meager returns at best. Its a good thing that they keep at it all those years or China would have to start from even further from behind in 2018 when the tech war started.
