Chinese semiconductor industry

I have notice a huge drop in the numbers of Chinese supercomputers in the top 500 ranking.

Is this because of:

(A) China can't build new supercomputers because of the sanctions.

or

(B) China stop reporting new supercomputers because of the sanctions.

It has been already proven to be B since 2021.

NAURA's Beijing N7 project will be operational in Q3 2023 (first link)... a previous report (second link) said the project will finish construction in Q1 2024. Looks like progress has accelerated.

Who? Apple A16 4nm is a glorify 5nm and other vendors are offering cheaper version as general weakness is felt as we enter a recession.

Honor sells from a low of $200 to a max of $500, a bargain IF you ask me.

There is virtually no difference in performance when it comes to normal daily use. 7nm is more than capable for mid-range phones for the vast majority of users.
