It's hard for me to see how so many patents come out at the same time unless they are getting ready to assemble a prototype.
Does anyone disagree with me on this? I'd love to hear if there is any reason for this not to be the case

as per @olalavn first prototype of EUV assembling can start at the end of this year or early 2024. this will be the first engineering porotype of EUV in China. It's hard for me to see how so many patents come out at the same time unless they are getting ready to assemble a prototype.

When you say calendar is bad, do you mean there is no availability even at the high prices? Are domestic American firms that desperately ordering from tsmc Arizona?I need to tell you a story. As I wrote in some private messages earlier, I work in NXP. The company is preparing a family of 5 nm auto chips. TSMC is the choice ofc. As far as I heard, the calendar and prices for TSMC Arizona are bad. Like really bad. Don't expect anything single-digit nm non-subsidized from TSMC Arizona for a long time.
Mostly lack of production As American media publish regularly even hiring is a huge problem. When you say calendar is bad, do you mean there is no availability even at the high prices? Are domestic American firms that desperately ordering from tsmc Arizona?
What are they showing right now as monthly capacity? If you don't me asking?Mostly lack of production As American media publish regularly even hiring is a huge problem.
That is for the late 2020s. Well after 2025. Not desirable for NXP, for certain. What are they showing right now as monthly capacity? If you don't me asking?
Aren't they looking to build 40k there eventually? That would be a lot of capacity
you can check here Artificial Intelligence threadCan someone explain what is the status of AI GPU chips in China, I heard US banned the most advanced Nvidia A100 to China, but are domestic alternatives up and coming?
Basically, Is China secured in AI development and why?
Not saying you're wrong, just that I would be cautious with timeline expectations since patents don't necessarily mean the technology being patented is actually ready, only that the design has been finalized. It's hard for me to see how so many patents come out at the same time unless they are getting ready to assemble a prototype.
