The 14nm Domestic Line is already undergoing production and we will have to wait for the performance indicators.
The 14nm Domestice Line Equipment can be easily upgraded to produce 7nm Chips.
If all goes well with the 14nm Line, it is very likely we can see a 7nm Domestic line being operational next year.
Sorry but I think I missed the confirmation about the domestic 14nm line. I didn't know china even had an official 28nm line. Anyone have source for this ?

maybe, Huawei will make 7nm DUV lithography with experts from U.S....
Huahong has a 14nm . production line..

Can you kindly expand a bit on the highlighted part ? Or do you mean from TSMC or returning US trained engineers from Intel, TI etc etc ?

did you just wake up ?

you missed a lot news. go through this thread you will get your answer. past 7 to 8 months were so mesmerizing regarding Chinese semiconductor breakthrough.

SMEE's DUVi 28nm already delivered and tap-out thousands of wafer.

You have a point bro, BUT IF China do achieved self sufficiency especially on DUVL and EUVL, I may see TSMC and other Taiwanese Tech company incorporated themselves in the Chinese economy. Right now they're hostage cause ASML is a monopoly and the American control a certain critical component, one piece can clog the whole process. So I'm certain the eventual reunification in Semiconductor sector can be achieved by 2026 IF the expected Chinese EUVL are being mass produced.

The American expected this as they are lurking on this forum and had read most of @Loveleenkr post...lol, joking aside the Chip Act is a product of that concern, they know that IF China had achieved FULL SPECTRUM IC independence, the Taiwanese and SK will migrate cause China aside from being the huge market, producing there will also be cheaper with local supply chain easily accessible, proximity and sanction proof.
Don't forget that china has a kick start in graphene market. Taiwan economy is not diverse. I think between 2025 to 2030 Taiwan will have economic recession.

I've been following along pretty closely. I just want to know if there's official news and confirmation that's all. A lot of behind the scenes evidence and speculation but has something official come out yet? That's my question. I'm stoked they China's semiconductor industry is super charged. I just don't want to get hyped on hope or news that may not turn out the way we expect. That's all.
