@olalavn Yup so the long wait for the Return of the King had finally happen with Kirin 710A.

If this will be confirmed in the following months, then this may easily be the biggest news of the year!

I mean, Huawei able to manufacture its own Kirin chips already in 2022 / 2023 it seems to me nothing short than exceptional.

If this turns out to be the case, US can ban what they want, anything will be ineffective.

Can you imagine this? When Trump will come back in power (if they don't find a way to jail him before) at the end of 2024, he will find Huawei already up and running again....and then will blame Biden for let this happen! Spectacular!! :D:D:D

@european_guy bro from my understanding since Huawei Shanghai FAB is slated to produce 28nm and 22nm Auto Chips, where will they get the 14nm chips? and here I think there is a collaboration with SMIC, as they provide the unfinished 14nm ( SMIC doesn't violate the sanction on Huawei by selling an unfinished product)and Huawei do the 3D chiplet packaging themselves. It had been done before with KIRIN 9006C 5nm chip with TSMC.

Therefore, the Kirin 9006C is likely to be a chip produced by TSMC and Huawei during the cooperation. The second argument is that Kirin 9006C is transformed ...

The advent of the Kirin 9006C is likely to be Huawei's helpless move. After all, this chip is also likely to be a Huawei product a few years ago.

Huawei's risky decision is to let TSMC directly produce the Kirin 9006 chip according to Huawei's current progress in the design of the Kirin 9006 chip . This ...
