Sorry, many questions since you have answers and new perspectives to offer. :D
helo....
SSB800 is dual stage iLine
SSC800 is dual stage KrF
I had assumed SSA800 is ArF dry, but most on this forum referred to SSA800 to be ArF immersion. What is the correct model# for ArF & ArFi?
but the China government doesn't approve it... SMEE has to redesign it... their light source system isn't up to standard....
very interesting. light source system = laser? RS Laser had released 4 or 5 KrF lasers a few years ago, are you saying these are not up to standard? iLine does not use laser, so what's is wrong with SSB800's light source system or what's preventing SMEE from selling these?
you ask me which is bottleneck... I answered those 2 things.. now... it's stable.
How about the dual stage, are these from U-Precision or SMEE develop in-house? U-Precision said their DWSi is still under developement in their latest IPO filing update in June this year.

To clarify what you said, SSA800 immersion system will be accepted and announced in Q4, but SSB800/SSC800 needs to redesign? That leaves the Arf dry system, what's the plan with this system?

thanks.

My understanding is that N+1 was referred to as "7nm like" because they were able to get some but not all features down to 7nm equivalent for that production node. N+2 meanwhile was supposed to be a "true" 7nm node. If the features on this chip are being compared to TSMC's 7nm node, my guess is that this is N+2 and not N+1, which would mean SMIC *has* advanced some beyond what we knew SMIC could produce in 2020. I don't think the style of the chip or whether it has SRAM or what the production yield for this chip looks like has much bearing on whether this is N+1 or N+2. What node this chip is at should be self evident in the transistor features.
Bro, here’s a clip from TechInsight on this SMIC bitcoin mining chip:

Having some time to digest info from this morning, just realized this TechInsight report just gave more ammunition to the U.S. hawks to push their agenda to increase sanction on SMIC. This is the smoking gun these hawks may have been waiting for.

I thought early you said that SMIC already announced they have this level of technology so this wasn’t a surprise. SMIC is already sanctioned. How does this report give US hawks a smoking gun? When it was already announced a couple years ago That they can do this? I just want to clarify the contradictory conclusions.

1. 清华作为02专项子项目承担方,研究课题早已通过验收好多年了;
2. 研究结项之后,课题负责人朱教授的公司华卓负责产业化;
3. 所谓最近“双工件台拉胯”谣言的根据,就是华卓在上市材料中,把双工件台从主营业务中拿掉了;
4. 拿掉的原因华卓解释的很清楚,上海微电子是光刻机集成商,上微光刻机整机无法规模出货,工件台营收自然好不了,在上市材料里面作为主营业务不合适;
5. 至于上海微电子的光刻机卡在哪个部件了,这个部件哪个公司哪个学校负责,只能呵呵了。 ”

Keyi Hongyuan has a 193nm-248nm laser system...but other things that China wants to complete 100% domestically...

2 / SSA800 / 10w has been tested at Chengdu factory but with very little production quantity...
