I wonder how would I install mods for my game and develop stuff that requires good GPU like videos, video games and CGI. Maybe they'll develop like an API or a new system, in order to quickly send data packets to the cloud to be quickly processed and sent back to the PC

But either way I welcome this change, if only the price is right, and if the security and privacy concerns are addressed.

Edit: Also would this completely change the dynamic of the PC market, because now people my opt for a cloud subscription service, over buying a new PC/parts every 1-4 years.

There are companies that sell "cloud" gaming to only specific set of games like stradia and nvdia, those cost 10$ a month. More specialize computing cost much more like AWS with tons of hidden cost. I have seen gaming versions of AWS and they were very expensive for the specs they provided and the cost were subscription based rather than "on demand".

Nanda Optoelectronics: ArF photoresist has small batch orders, and market expansion work is accelerating

On April 1, NTU Optoelectronics stated on the investor interaction platform that there are currently small-batch orders for ArF photoresist, which has not yet been mass-produced, and the market expansion work is being accelerated.

In terms of ArF photoresist, after the ArF photoresist product independently developed by NTU Optoelectronics was certified on the 50nm flash memory platform of a memory chip manufacturing company at the end of 2020, it will be certified on the 55nm technology node of a logic chip manufacturing company in May 2021. The product has made a breakthrough in certification, and obtained small batch orders to achieve sales. On the eve of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China in 2021, the "development and industrialization of ArF photoresist products" project undertaken by the company under the national 02 special project passed the performance evaluation and acceptance of the expert group. The large-scale mass production of glue has laid the foundation. At present, many products are being certified by many customers at the same time, and the market expansion work will be accelerated to achieve mass sales as soon as possible.

Sadly UK politics is totally in witch hunt mode regarding China. This is very depressing. Unfortunately it happens also with many European politicians..but not on this scale, not on this level of insanity.

BTW Newport Wafer Fab is a very old fab, with very old technology that very probably would bankrupt if Nexperia, an European company, didn't buy it. Nexperia is European with Chinese owners.

Why would they want to buy such old technology?

Nexperia was already the 2nd biggest shareholder of that fab and one of its biggest customers. The fab itself was unable to pay its debts and was in the brink of bankruptcy when Nexperia purchased the remaining shares to become the 100% owner. The price tag was reportedly only £63 million. That gives u an idea of the condition of that fab. Nexperia basically rescued it to ensure continued supply of whatever the components NWF was making for Nexperia.

China's Yangtze Memory Technologies (YMTC) has recently cleared Apple's validation for its 128-layer 3D NAND flash memory, with shipments slated to kick off in small volumes in May at the earliest, according to industry sources.

Already US law makers are showing their disapproval.
