Guess all those market access and investment should deter SK and Taiwan from joining the alliance for now.

If ever.

That train has left the station.

But to the Americans, it has not, even though it has.

I never understood why the Americans stayed fighting the Vietnam War for a few more years when most people in the US knew it was already lost.

It seems to be a combination of lack of knowledge of the world beyond US borders, and infantile strategic thinking which is a total put off to those being hectored.

Here, the Americans want the South Korean chip makers to gang up on their biggest customer.

It would be preferable if the Americans said to the South Koreans let's play Russian Roulette. At least that would be less insulting.

:D

- Fully domestic architecture
-12 nm process (could be manufactured by SMIC if the company gets sanctioned)
- Support for x86, ARM, LoongArch (Chinese architecture if you remember)
- Support for Linux and Windows
- Support for DirectX, OpenGL, Vulkan, and even CUDA
- Support for common game engines like Unreal, Unity, etc...
- Encoding codecs: H.264, H.265, AV1
- Decoding codecs: H.264, H.265, AV1, VP8, VP9.

Note: The AV1 is an 8K codec. No consumer card supports it. These two cards will be the first ones.

Cards:
MTT S60: 2048 FP32 cores, 6 TFLOPS, 192 GPix / s fill rate, 8GB LPGDDR4X, 8K output
MTT S2000: 4096 FP32 cores, 12 TFLOPS, 32 GB memory, 8K output

Hi
Recently, The event of Russia 's complete breakup with the West and its war in Ukraine is ground breaking event. It's equivalent to revolution by Russia. The West economic sanctions against Russia is prelude to CHina's taiwan scenario in the future. Russia future now tied with China.
I wrote to Russian news and government agency contacts to make some suggestions
1)Use Yuan and digital Yuan in trade with Russian and all its currently influenced Soviet block countries and SCO countries should use that too . Now seems it's a feedback to that.

2)CHina Russia Semiconductor alliance . I suggest that Russia should build up its semiconductor industry using Chinese domestic equipments, Now it looks like 28nm fully domestic equipments within grasp. It also should join in to the euv developement.

Those are common architecture blocks the two countries can focus upon . That's what needed for alliance.

Not sure, although the whole thing is bizarre and weird. At the end of the day, an independent Arm China is beneficial for everyone.
@KYli and yet Mr Masayoshi Son had majority share for the new Chinese venture, great play for him and he being Asian know how the world works. IF the world is being split into 2 by geopolitics then split yourself into two and continue doing business, he had the business clout and acumen to do so.
