Jingce Electronics: Shanghai Jingce's film thickness products have received repeated orders from domestic first-line customers in batches​


According to the micro-net news, on March 28, Jingce Electronics stated on the investor interaction platform that Shanghai Jingce’s film thickness products (including integrated film thickness products) have obtained batches of repeated orders from domestic first-line customers, and electron beam measurement equipment. And the brightfield wafer pattern defect detection equipment has been ordered, and the OCD measurement equipment has been successfully verified by the client.

Just realised China also has a SOC producer called UNISOC. Doesn't seem to be successful in cutting edge tech though since their 5g chips don't seem to have any users

Their 1st generation 5G SoCs (12nm) is used by Hisense and some other small manufacturers. Their 2nd generation 5G SoCs (6nm) entered mass production few months ago and is rumored to come out on a new Hisense device.

Indeed. YMTC becoming an Apple supplier is a good thing for it. Apple is a well-oiled machine which requires extreme reliability from its suppliers. YMTC will surely learn a lot of things from it.
If YMTC needs Apple to learn how to be reliable, that's a bigger problem. Apple isn't some kind of trainer. From what I have seen, extreme reliability isn't only thing Apple requires from suppliers.
