Funny... someone would believe in some sources in Russia that there is an impeding sales... while totally ignoring the Russian State Newspaper that stated otherwise.

next time learn Russian and update your sources

«Рособоронэкспорт» и представители Китая продолжают переговоры по закупке Пекином 24 истребителей Су-35, подписание контракта ожидается в 2014 г., сообщил заместитель генерального директора «Рособоронэкспорта» Виктор Комардин.

Welcome Back, I kinda doubt the Chinese aerobatic team are flying Su-35s anytime soon, as I believe that Shenyang has the Flankers well in hand, but I don't doubt that lots of folks in the know, would love to get the F-117s in a Sino Flanker??? I wouldn't have been surprised a few years ago if this happened, but now?????? I am surprised this thread is still open, and I pretty much am convinced this is a dead duck! brat

Read well, the article says " negotiations still on"

And watch the video

Su-35 has even new nano coatings giving it a football size RCS, add supercruise and you will understand the animal.

Those who claimed T-50 has even a metal frame canopy and said it it was not stealthy, did not understand stealth, nano coatings give it a stealth profile and by 2015 Russia will get the new 129 engine of 17 tonnes and the turbines blade have nano coatings reducing RCS.

This allowed the Russians to keep a lean profile and a relatively straight intake duct.

Plus the new jets have a lot of composites.

New nanomaterials have improved the latest Sukhois, so far Su-35 will be a very good fighter

LMAO! Russians always claim the contract is about to be signed. Back in 2012, they claimed the contract was about to be signed in 2013. Then in 2011, they claimed the contract was about be signed by 2012. No contract ever materialized. Period.

What most likely happened is that the Russians kept on sending salesmen to China to solicit a Su-35 deal. The Russian media then calls that "negotiations" merely because Russian and Chinese happen to be having conversations. By that loose standard, I would be negotiating with international customers all day as I meet people from different cultures on an hourly basis.

this answers me, the rest believe what fits better your world view

The fact that the statement came from a representation of Russian industries meant the statement is just hot air and nothing concrete. There is your answer.

If your Su-35 has soccer sized RCS then you Russians will not be developing the PAK-FA. Why ? Because according to your own source PAK-FA has RCS greater than 0.5 m^2 !!!

Also, the link you provided just repeated the same news one month ago. lol

lol, the same Rosoboronexport said that the deal will be signed in late 2012, then early 2013, then middle 2013, then late 2013, and now 2014. lol

Poor of you it seems either you did not watch the video or you simply like to lie, the video says PAKFA has a tennis ball size RCS

So go the video by RT has russia designers in nano technology and coatings and while Su-35 has a football size RCS it is far far from what in this forum the so called experts claim specially when it comes to the so called two pieces canopy of T-50 a good laugh watch the video.

Mig-29, you are a lair. It is Impossible for PAK-FA to have a tennis ball sized RCS because it has completely exposed engine fan blade:

Of course this is the reality !!!

100.jpg

Because of this, PAK-FA will have fontal RCS at least the size of the engine fan blade itself which is around 0.5 m^2 for each engine !!!

Everyone knows that it is absolutely impossible for the engine fan blade to deflect radar waves and it is impossible for the engine fan blade to observe radar signatures. Because of this reason F-22 and J-20 and F-35 have specially designed engine inlet to deflect the radar wave such as F-22's V shape inlet and J-20's and F-35's DSI inlet.

Also Su-35 aint no stealth fighter, this means that Su-35 will have frontal RCS much greater than that of the PAK-FA which should be 2 m^2 at the best !! Otherwise it will be stupid for your Russians to even develop the PAK-FA

Since you are not Vladimir Vikulin of Orpe Tekhnologya and hardly know about nano technologies well i can expect this live in your dreams no need to argue, i will believe a real Chief designer of a nano technology company working on PAKFA rather than a white noise poster without any credentials in the real world.

Vyacheslav Samsonov is a real deputy director of Stelko who does work in nano technology an d coatings who has more credentials than you and he works in PAKFA
