Ant Group has launched a new open source web bundler written in Rust. I believe ByteDance just did as well too. There’s a large influx of JS build tools all written in Rust coming out of China right now.

You can easily use Linux for virtual machine needs.

For remote-server demand, I don't think there are many customers at all in China who want a remote Windows machine. A remote Linux box will do just fine for all of them, I think.
Linux has a good deal of open-source virtualization solutions available.

China releases first homegrown PC operating system featuring AI

Chinese company Kylinsoft launched the first AIPC version of its Kylin operating system at the 2024 China Operating System Industry Conference in Beijing on Thursday.

This is the country's first homegrown operating system for personal computers that is integrated with artificial intelligence (AI), bridging a gap in the development of edge-side inference capabilities in China's operating system industry.

Deepin 23 is finally released after 2-3 years of development. I believe it is a major revamp from 22 with a new GUI style, a recent linux kernel, and it's own app packaging system.
