This depends on if Xi retires at the end of this term. Given the new cold war, I think no.
I can see him going for another 5 years.

After all, 2027 is probably going be the Zenith of US-China confrontation
But Ding completely lacks the experience outside of Shanghai and the party central. His career path in the party has been very staright and focused. Basically since 2006, he worked his way up from Shanghai as the chief of staff of the local CPC branch into the party central and became of chief of staff of the 19th PB.

Unlike all the other 20th PB members, Ding has not had any position in the State Council and regional leader offices. In the traditional Chinese political wisedom, people like him would be considered 不懂实务. It's going to be really unprecedented if he becomes the next boss.

During the National Day Parade in 2019, President Hu was not in good health. His hands were shaking constantly. The live broadcast was very obvious. In a word, President Hu is not in good health. It has been very difficult for him to hold on for so many days. At last, President Hu specially said hello when he left! Enough with the conspiracy theories!
Hu jingtao has been known to have health issues even before he took the throne. There was a rumor that Deng Xiaoping once said "没想到江泽民这么滑头,没想到胡锦涛身体这么差".

Judging from the videos he likely had Parkinson's from the way he moves and walks. It can be associated at times with rapidly progressing dementia. Just my guess.

I'm not too familiar with the Chinese politics but has the CYL been that problematic?

I hope this isn't a situation of absolute power corrupting although judging by the results (China's GDP increase, higher tech focus, decrease corruption, improved livelihoods) Xi has done the best job as a leader compared to the entire world in the last 10 years. And that's using western data. The more western media hates on him the more I feel he is doing a good job.

Do those Sinophobic Western clowns see Hu Chunhua as some sort of a future Chinese Gorbachev?
MSM is pushing the idea that Hu Chunhua, Li Keqiang, and Wang Yang are market friendly and reformers. Doubt that they truly believe that but were hoping to cause a division within China. And they do believe Hu, Li and Wang would be willing to move China back to less confrontational and more accommodated foreign policies.
