Chinese Economics Thread

That's why confidence plays a major role in economic recovery. If people are not confident they don't spend money thus corporations that make products don't make as much money slowing recovery. That's why all the positive spins the US government and Wall Street say about the economy. Then on the flip side they want to spread no confidence for China so no one spends money there. And all of it has nothing to do with the truth. They aren't going to say China is doing better because then people will think China's system might actually be better and change their own system meaning all the parties that benefit the most at the expense of the rest lose out.

Is education free in China?
If your parents can't pay their mortgage, it make sense they can't pay for your (private)education.

Don't get whats so weird about it all over the western world you have those social credit score system.
Try not paying your mortgage for a year and see how much you really own. Its more that in the west those systems has been in place for decades already and China is probably still a wild west when it comes to certain sections of the law.

I don't think there's a national rule but in many cities dependents of people who're behind their debt payment for a prolonged period of time are barred from private schools. They're not barred from public schools as those are free.
