Man this is the most garbage opinion piece I've seen. "Indispensable for sustaining America's dominance", "protecting the American way of life" - the author might as well just say he's the biggest Yankee cowboy in the world. "help China adopt the way of life the established world has adopted" - yeah like keeping Latin America and Africa exploited forever. @Gatekeeper why do these people sound so sanctimonious? Seriously it's all these morally superior folks telling us you better convert to our religion or you going to hell

"My family and my home are all here. I have property in Singapore, too. How can they treat me like this? If they have evidence, they should take me to court" apparently it's the same guy who was expelled from Singapore for political subversion. On July 2019, Huang told the South China Morning Post that he worked for one whole year in Washington D.C. to prove that he is not what Singapore implied as. "So I wanted to show that at least the U.S. doesn't think I am working for whoever."

Why are so many China experts mentally damaged? He tried to retire in Singapore but got banned from Singapore instead.

Hi Crang,

If you're my customer and I treat you badly and ban selling you a certain product, naturally you will be angry and will look for an alternative. Now it affect my business and dare to sue you for the damages. What kind of logic is that...LOL. As mace posted earlier, you had made your choice and be an adult and lived with it.

Wow!!! Bravo Stan Grant, we need more of you to educate the WEST that DOMINATION is an alien/foreign concept and hold no meaning for us Chinese. The most common term and practice that we use is co-existence and respect.

at the beginning trump trade war demands is simply an order to surrender unconditionally or in other words to bend the knee, so who do you think is the barbarians here?

Which is developed country? US? Where people live in roadside & 90% wealth belong to 1% people? Where every 2 days people shoot each other being unable to control freedom?
West should seek stable relationship with east first. We don't need 50 years old pale face "wannabe leader" grandpas & grandmas anymore .
