no mention of C919 in there means no EASA certificate and limited opportunities for export.

Not end of the world, but China did use Western suppliers for the purpose of trying to get EASA certificate. This is a case where EASA/FAA working together really hurts China's ability to get its product certified in Western countries. You rarely see EASA certify for one and FAA doesn't. + Vice versa

China at this point need to just work toward full indigenization of subsystems since Western countries aren't going to certify C919

“去年后半年至今年2月,C919主要在敦煌机场开展地面实验。”罗斌表示,C919飞机今年在敦煌基地主要任务是设计优化和EASA(欧洲航空安全局)取证任务。作为中国商飞民用飞机试飞中心敦煌试飞基地,敦煌机场未来还将保障C919飞机大量试飞工作。
"From the second half of last year to February this year (2023), the C919 mainly carried out ground experiments at Dunhuang Airport." Luo Bin said that the main task of the C919 aircraft at the Dunhuang base this year (2023) is design optimization and EASA certification tasks. As the Dunhuang test flight base of COMAC, Dunhuang Airport will also guarantee many test flights of C919 aircraft in the future.

Looks like the first ARJ-21 delivered to export customer will start commercial operation on 04/18

The first domestically produced ARJ21 to operate overseas, the PK-TJA of Indonesian TransNusa Airlines, will start commercial flight on April 18, with the maiden flight from Jakarta to Denpasar (Bali). After the aircraft was delivered to Lingya Airlines in December last year, it flew to Jakarta via Ho Chi Minh City and completed the 100-hour verification flight of the new model required by the Indonesian Civil Aviation Authority last month. The company's second ARJ21 will also be delivered in the near future...

The PK-TJA that is about to set sail has an all-economy-class 95-seat layout, and is provided by CALC for operating lease. CALC ordered 30 ARJ21-700s from COMAC in 2021 and reserves the right to choose another 30. These aircraft are expected to be put into overseas markets..

ARJ21 exported to Indonesia’s TransNusa will make its commercial maiden voyage today. The plane has just taken off from Jakarta, the capital of Indonesia, and headed to Bali Denpasar Airport, a tourist attraction. However, there should be a ceremony today, "Leaders fly first" (the visual sense of ARJ's first domestic operation), and tickets will be officially sold tomorrow.

In an interview with the media, Bernard Francis, CEO of Lingya Aviation Group, mentioned some interesting information: "I have been involved in the ARJ21 project for the past three and a half years, and it looks like Airbus or Boeing, including the cabin and other aspects. Everything is about the same as Airbus and Boeing, if not better." "

I personally think that creating a new operating model for ARJ21 is our opportunity at TransNusa". Regarding pilot training, Francis mentioned that TransNusa pilots are being trained at the COMAC training center in Shanghai, China. The Chinese aircraft maker has also sent about 30 flight operations experts and engineers to Indonesia to support the airline. “In the future, as we build up the fleet, as we get more aircraft, if we have a local facility in the region, we will see it appear in Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore or wherever it makes sense,” when

asked And ARJ21 compared with Boeing, Airbus and Bombardier's higher single-seat fuel consumption, Francis said that a series of upgrades will be carried out on the aircraft in the future. "With all new aircraft, there is this process. Initially, it may be slightly heavier and burn more fuel, all to ensure the absolute safety of the aircraft. With the flight of this aircraft (ARJ21) More and more, we 're going to make changes to the aircraft as we grow and develop."

we have an agreement of purchasing 30 Aircrafts. in future we can procure 30 more.

A historic moment for China. from assembling toys to civilian aircraft in just 30 years.

COMAC journey has officially begun.

alright, my thoughts on the impact of new CATL battery. I don't think this really makes it viable for longer ranged commercial aircraft, but private jets and regional jets are possible. There is also the possibility of hybrid aircraft longer term. eVTOL seems to be something that will be more prominent in the future. With CATL technology, Chinese eVTOL companies will have leg up.
