Boeing struggling in Civil aircraft business. heavy loss and running in debt.
so who could be the potential buyer. i don't see anybody outside China have balls to buy this giant. which US will never allow. LOL
AVIC/COMAC should put in a cheeky bid for the civil business, just to see the look on US politicians' faces.

Such M&A deals do happen (think UBS taking over CS) but usually the acquirer has to take on the target's debts.
It would be poetic justice. Boeing made the US government tariff Bombardier‘s C-series planes, forcing Bombardier to sell the program to Airbus for $1
Montreal-based Bombardier ceded control of the program to Airbus in 2018 for a token C$1 as part of broader efforts to improve its finances. It retained a minority stake alongside the Canadian province of Quebec.
