An AAM with folded fins for internal weapons bay?
I must admit, PLA designation system is going a bit wild recently; yesterday the re-use of the PL-11 designation, now the new missile - we formerly expected to be the PL-16 - as the PL-15E!!
Here with the J-35A.
I still find hard to get the name of J-35 this day ...

lol, i know how it goes, what I means, J-21 or J-25 could be better designations
lol, so chinese pay a tribut to swidish 60 yrs ago? respect...?
I think the same too. But if they are deliberately being "right in your face" against copying allegations that would be kinda based too.
