Very nice, hopefully the PL-10E info is posted by AVIC next. 
It's a sort of double-negative thing. Like they kept moaning that it's a copy of F-35, so if we just go ahead and blatantly calls it J-35 then maybe they look at it side by side and suddenly see that one is a whale and the other a slim pretty dolphin.
Any idea when the PL-12A has entered service?
In fact, many years ago, it was discovered that there was a type of PL12 that could have a range of 120KM.
And the name PL12A does not appear in only one missile code.

I think you just clear my question on why the 2 PL-12 has a slight difference in painting. One that is all blue and one that is all blue and 3 yellow bands.
Lyman posted a claim that the PL-17 has an over 500km effective range against a supersonic, high altitude maneuverable target like a CCA that begins evading almost immediately after launch, and if launched from 20km altitude by J-36 @ M2.0 has nearly 1000km range against larger subsonic targets. Not sure the reliability of the source though, looks like it could've been an arbitrary hypothetical from a paper.
That sure demand some reliable datalinking and target designation. Even with mach 4 average flight speed. 1000 km is still like 12 minutes of flight.
