China's transport, tanker & heavy lift aircraft

I would say that yellow parts are metal because it is used where the loads are highest. Particularly in the middle body and the wing. Wing-body joint is green for a composite air covers for a wing box. Front and tail parts are composites for lighter weight.

Beautiful plane I say. Looking very purposeful. Pity that engine development don't keep up with the airframes China is developing.

And naturally, Taiwan officals and Kanwa downplayed this whole thing...I'll spare you lads the details, but their brag about China's inferior fabrication capabilities and engine "troubles", not like they're telling anything new or something everybody doesn't know already. Taiwan's usual tone is that they're "fully aware and in the loop", but if everyone remembers what happened in a parlimentary hearing only a few days before Project 718's first flight...I say their intel all drawn from the internet like us...

Taiwan officials can't even have a peaceful parliament session without slapping each other, much less make ANYTHING aerodynamic or space and defense equipment on their own to even talk bad about the real China accomplishments.

Xian paints H-6s with yellow primer, so i guess it's so safe to say they don't change the primer just for the Y-20
and Gorthaur put a reasonable comment there, also the engine cowling, very close to vibration and heat, although composite engine cowling is not unprecedented

One of the delight of China unveiling something of this magnitude is going over to bharat rakshak and see the melt down, pure comedy :D

Nah, they'd just say: "well we got C-17, best in the world and delivery is underway. So it doesn't matter what the Chinese make." Or something worse...

True said, they are so nervous they actually don't even know what to say and do, like a headless chicken

Some of them probably go down with a heart failure

they say it doesn't have a ramp door, lol, not one person but two, middle aged psychologist none the less.

Asif sir, BR is probably one of the few places on the internet which still actively and consciously mocks China and seeks denial against all the inescapable fact that China is moving ahead in light speed. Even when international and reputable media such as flightglobal or aviationweek is covering China's progress they still turn a blind eye.

I had my say, anymore than this i'll be having a guilty pleasure moment.

I won't say anything this time... :p

P.S. I'm bad! I could't help but went to that loony house of the last batch of mental circle jerkers on earth... Hence I couldn't resist coming back saying what I just said.
