What, you expect them bluntly saying that is used to airdrop AFVs and airborne troops in some "conflict situations"? If it's those N.Koreans I'd expect something like that, but the Chinese? Nah.

Besides, if peace pervail to the time it goes to serial production and general service, those will be the exact scenarios it is envisioned to operate, airlift to remote disaster areas and humanitarian flights to air freight relief supplies and pull out expats. The

That is just unbelievable!!! I would rank this flight more spectacular than J15 flying off the Liaoning

This is a great achievement for China, I am just wondering how they managed to pull this one off in such short time

Looking at its size and wheel base it's believable that it could lift cargo of 60+tons

Because such claim is nothing but bogus, the facility at Huangjiahu is just a deck handling training/testing facility.

From the high resolution photographs, green should be metal while yellow and white are composite.

I think it's the opposite, yellow is metal and green is composite because look at the J-11B the vertical tail is green and the body is yellow, also J-10 and J-11 are both yellow mainly, and we know the J-10 and J-11 are metal mainly.
