If economical and bussiness activity has infiltrate politics and in a matter of kind drive politics, you have to have liberal politics as a given. But liberals love to present it as a natural event. Ideally the US would love it if it could make Afghanistan another failed state like Syria. It would damage the country and cause instability to the countries next to it
