Some images from the latest space walk. It lasted 9 hours and 6 minutes, which is a new world record for the longest space walk. The purpose of the space walk was to install extra protection against space debris, among other things.

The facility can test:
1. Single engine up to 300t thrust. Or rocket stage of up to 1000t total thrust
2. Up to 100 times of engine tests per year. Or 50 times of engine tests plus 10 times of rocket stage tests per year.
3. Rocket stage up to 5 metres in diameter.
4. [addition] the facility is compatible to both LOX/Kerosine and LOX/Methane engines.

Construction on the Qiankun commercial engine test facility is proceeding smoothly. It will begin operations in the first half of 2025.

The 2nd-stage fuel and oxidizer tanks for the Lijian-2 launch vehicle have rolled off the production line. They have a diameter of 3.35 meters and are made from 2219 aluminum alloy.

The development of Lijian-2 continues apace. Zhongke/CAS Space has completed static load tests on Lijian-2's 1st-stage fuel tank.

that the new Tianjin facility has an annual production capacity of more than 100 satellites and has produced about 30 satellites this year. CASC's second satellite production facility (located in Wenchang) will become operational in 2025 and has an annual capacity of 1,000 satellites.

Lingkong's hypersonic spaceplane demonstrator on display at its test range outside Korla, Xinjiang. According to the photographer, the demonstrator was successfully tested and recovered sometime ago. It was first unveiled at Zhuhai Airshow 2022 (second image below).
