That is an irresponsible and dangerous behaviour of SpaceX and US Space administration ignoring their treaty obligation to ensure the peaceful use of outer space. I condemn such rogue activities that endanger the Chinese Space Station and its Crew.

My post is intentionally in reference to the earlier noises of "uncontrolled reentry" of CZ-5B core and Tiangong, and the Russian anti-sat test. The disgusting thing is that the Americans were so "concerned" that the Russian test endangers China's station (which is far far away) while their act that forced China's station to move did not bother them.
No use of issuing complaints. Just launch and pollute the area with Junk Microsatellites. Only with such aggression will the US be brought to the table. Exceptionalism is a threat to multilateral world and the right of countries to pursue independent progress. China must threaten the safety of Starlink systems or other high value assets.

I was only to mock those noises in this forum by mirroring their words. China should put the space cleaning crafts near important Chinese assets. Next time, such uninvited space-junk (starlink) should be dragged into atmosphere without China even say a word.

I do suspect that Starlink is part of US space weapon system like land mines. When needed, it can move into the collision course to opponent's asset.

"Beijing says in documents to UN that Starlink satellites launched by @Elonmusk'S @SpaceX of the US have had two close encounters with the China Space Station. For safety reasons, the CSS implemented preventive collision avoidance control on July 1 & Oct 21, 2021, respectively."

This is completely unacceptable, and endangering lives to boot. And this is not the first time the Starlink system irresponsibly produces close encounters with other space assets.
SpaceX was talking about a warning system and automatic manuevering to both alert and prevent things like these from happening. OBVIOUSLY this is not what we see happening right now, and they have to answer for it.

How feasible would be for China to set up a 1000m security radius around the space station?

For example, have civilian satellites with military capabilities (private mercenaries style), to actively engage any foreign objects that get close (1000m) to the space station

China could even use this as an opportunity to get more civilian companies engaged in this sector by outsourcing the contract to the civilian sector (no need to reveal military capabilities for such matters)

I think this sector is viable for businesses to enter. As more space assets are launched, there is more need to have security arrangements for important space assets

This is generally counter-intuitive as it would increase the danger to the station itself via the production of more debris. The "foreign objects" we are talking about are approaching the station at ridiculous relative velocities from dissecting trajectories.

The correct response is to track co-orbiting or dissecting objects, anticipate encounters and reposition the station if needed, so as to avert any danger. This is not as easy as it sounds, which btw makes SpaceXs behavior in this instance even more abhorrent.

The response to endangering the safety of manned Chinese space assets with hazardous spy satellites having supposed communication capabilities should be to enact sanctions on the launching entity and if necessary, neutralize their launch site and ground facilities.

In just 42 seconds, a small Chinese satellite captured images of a large area around a US city that would be sharp enough to identify a military vehicle on the street and tell what type of weapon it might be carrying, say scientists reporting on the breakthrough.
The image, taken from an altitude of 500 kilometres (310 miles), had a resolution of 50 centimetres per pixel. The performance test over North America and other areas showed that the satellite could take images while its body was twisting at up to 10 degrees per second, a speed not seen on a satellite before.

He Yufan, an officer with the Xian Satellite Monitor and Control Centre, noted the record number of space launches. He also told the state broadcaster that China would protect the country’s space assets in the future, without elaborating.
