How feasible would be for China to set up a 1000m security radius around the space station?

For example, have civilian satellites with military capabilities (private mercenaries style), to actively engage any foreign objects that get close (1000m) to the space station

China could even use this as an opportunity to get more civilian companies engaged in this sector by outsourcing the contract to the civilian sector (no need to reveal military capabilities for such matters)

I think this sector is viable for businesses to enter. As more space assets are launched, there is more need to have security arrangements for important space assets

1KM is way too close in space terms.

"Beijing says in documents to UN that Starlink satellites launched by @Elonmusk'S @SpaceX of the US have had two close encounters with the China Space Station. For safety reasons, the CSS implemented preventive collision avoidance control on July 1 & Oct 21, 2021, respectively."

Yup… just and the venom to. Okay so you might recall a few months back Russia destroyed a satellite and then NASA protested?
Funny when it comes around.
here is the deal.
The Russian ASAT launch had an Apogee of 290 miles perigee of 289 miles.
Starlink is at 210 miles to 131 miles
ISS Apogee 259 miles to 262 miles.
The Chinese station 280 miles to 210 miles.
But all of these are still in the Atmosphere as such aerodynamic drag is still in effect. When the Russians missiles the Kosmos satellite they changed the orbit of the satellite and from its orbit it could only go down. Falling into the ISS orbit. The Chinese station sits rather low in orbit its Apogee overlapping Starlink frankly a boost of the station would fix that very quickly. But expect incidents like this are only going to climb. Starlink’s primary aim is high speed Internet as such unlike previous satellite systems like Iridium at about 470 miles. Thing is it’s easier to move the station than the satellites as being cubesats they pretty much are disposable. SpaceX designed them to burn up after a few years of life so as to prevent space junk.

Note: I meant The Chinese stations Perigee overlaps the Apogee of the Starlink constellations. Now ISS boosts by either using thrusters in one of the modules or by reboost via a docked ship.
presumably the Chinese station could do the same wait till Apoapsis and do a prograde burn.

This pass isn't anything new. If anyone remembers China already did this to the US with the ISS. I forgot what it was called but they had a module launched around a decade ago where it launched an experimental microsatellite called I think it was something like X-1 that orbited the mother vessel and took pictures as it passed by close to the ISS and the US was alarmed because it was a precursor to what they claimed was a satellite that could intercept and tear apart other satellites. So who's actually alarmed by this nothing new action by the US? China that's already done this to the US or someone who thinks they can speak for China who didn't know China already did this to the US? Empty accomplishment.
