China's SCS Strategy Thread

China's present goal is to prevent construction materials from getting onto (and rebuilding) that derelict, not to starve those Filipino soldiers stationed on that derelict to death.

If Beijing wants to see those soldiers gone, one or two YJ-83 missiles from a Type 22 missile boat would've been much quicker. But based on what we've seen WRT the various "interactions" between the CCG and PCG so far, the CCG has zero intention of causing death to anyone involved in the maritime disputes in the SCS.

In fact, the CCG is actually more disciplined and restrained than even the rebel's CGA.
I think the goal is to keep the soldiers hostage. Philipino are clearly unwilling to voluntarily withdraw. Therefore, keeping those soldiers alive is up to how permissive China is. If there is beef with Philipine the pressure can be applied on the island to keep them in line, or face national embarassment. In a democracy, embarassment is career ending.

I wonder why PCG crew doesn't wear life jackets, it's not something expensive and can be life saving if someone gets knocked off the ship during the collision.
Safety? Pfft..that's for sissies like the Chinese. Pinot power is on a different level bro. That's your typical response from morons a.k.a. Average Filipino people's mentality especially against Chinese.

Jawan oxygen mask vibes?

Not to go off topic but I’ve read on Weibo that shortly after both China and India agreed to withdraw the PLA investigated the Indian encampment and found it to be worse than downtown San Francisco in a certain respect, and I’m not talking about used drug needles. It was a major pain to clean up since biological waste does not degrade easily at that altitude.

Damn I didn't know water cannon can break glass. I thought it was more akin to a car wash/fire hydrant.

Last time I checked, the boat Unaizah Mae 4 was locally built in the Philippines, so it might explain the low-quality construction

Meanwhile, In the Filipino cyber community, the clueless majority continue to look down on and have a generally negative opinion about products made in China..

While USING CHINESE MADE PRODUCTS. PINOYS are comedians, and the DUMB versions of Jai Hinds. India may love go brag needlessly about themselves but historically speaking, they can point to something of immense significance and civilizational contributions. How about Filipinos? The name of their country and their nationality is of FOREIGN ORIGIN named after then King Philip of Spain. Their culture is a mish-mash of class rule, elitism passed down from their Spanish masters along with Catholicism. Food is a fusion of Spanish-Chinese influence with a sprinkle of American shit.

The Philippines can't even make their own indigenous industry succeed unless it's in beauty pageants, Taylor Swift concert begging and other unimportant decadence that don't do anything that can actually materially improve the lives of the more than 20 million people living in EXTREME POVERTY.
