The US warship was definetely not expelled

But it also didn't have any qualification to stay there (PLAN dominates that area)

So its basically all a big PR game.

US says "Freedom of Navigation" but lol, US knows that it cant truly traverse this are without the PLAN sinking its ships

And China cant expel a ship. Because if it wants, the US ship can stay there indefinitely and China doesn't dare to do anything against it

So, meaningless PR game. Everyone knows that China dominates that area

I do hope China soon doing FON in Gulf Mexico, Bermuda and also in English Channel, St George channel and North sea ... let see what US and British would say .... very interesting huhh

Nah, this one too easy for China to be "in the wrong" as it is not disputed waters.

China should do FON at Diego Garcia. UK and US are camping on Diego Garcia despite ruling from ICJ and UN saying it rightfully belongs to Mauritius. This makes it arguable that UK/US have no right to turn away PLAN ships from Diego Garcia.

Better still, if they get permission from Mauritius, PLAN can sail into territorial waters of Diego Garcia with full right of International Rule of Law and US/UK can suck thumb.

That is the diplomacy and rhetoric Escobar is proposing and consistent throughout his numerous posting. The main theme in his post is China is weak in responses and PR and need to double down on escalating tension just like his great leader. He would constantly post random inconsequential inflammatory tweets to agitate readers here to respond in anger. His interest does not aligned with China's interest to find a proportional and rational response to world events. His interest is to escalate tension with an ulterior motive of forcing China to align with countries such as North Korea, no matter how despicable that country's leader is.

Well said. I couldn't put it better myself. That's precisely why I keep asking him for his opinon. I felt there's some sought of cynicism in his post. I felt he's trying to psint China in a bad light, but not making it obvious.

Who says NK's leader is despicable? The capitalist corporate media?

I think maybe a "despicable" is needed to highlight it is from the western perspective.

The man's commentary coming from a supposed ex elected Mayor, admitting to have "killed" someone is being pushed to propagate on social media to rile up the mostly northern Filipinos (Tagalog speaking) to spur some kind of organic opposition against Duterte.

Type 815 is perfect for this. Park it 11.9nm off the shore of DG Base.
Any response by the US will just highlight the hypocrisy of their SIGINT missions off Hainan.

A Type 075 is just giving the USN an opportunity to sail a CBG next to it. The optics won't look good for the PLAN and makes it much easier to spin the narrative to their advantage.
