The man's commentary coming from a supposed ex elected Mayor, admitting to have "killed" someone is being pushed to propagate on social media to rile up the mostly northern Filipinos (Tagalog speaking) to spur some kind of organic opposition against Duterte.

Seems like Malaysia is making noise about this so-called intrusion in Malaysian 'airspace'.
China has already refuted it, claiming there is no intrusion of airspace. They planes (Y20 and IL76) are probably flying within Malaysia claim of its EEZ. I suspect this has to do with US pressure on Malaysia or certain element within Malaysian military.
If Malaysia wants to play hardball, I'm sure China can play along. Just watch out for the palm oil and rubber exports from Indonesia being given preference.
