And sadly I can agree with @duskseeker ,@GenghisCant and @Bellum_Romanum that there are many like him willing sold their soul to America, its all about economics bro. Principle don't feed your family or ego, its all about your status and titles. In an Oligarchy society you can't climb the social ladder until some oligarch sponsor you, his promotion is not base on merit as his credentials are subpar, he is not a PMA graduate and compare to his peers had never work in the fields and mostly held desk job so how come he was promote to Commodore? Well Ray Powell recommend him after being scouted when studying in the US and compare his attitude to Admiral Carlos, after being expose as a warmonger and a traitor he keeps yapping with his mouth trying to convince us otherwise, while the good Admiral quietly resign his commission with dignity, That's the difference.
Key takeaway Filipinos Buy his shit because of pure intelligence levels. The only other nation that manages to surround itself with enemies with "friends" far away is India. It would be so good if a dozen million indians with their caste system migrates to the Philippines. It would be so gorgeous.

Sorry to disappoint you my friend, it will not happen, The Indians or Bumbay as we called them which is a derogatory word by the way is more afraid of us as they were always a victim of robbery and extortion. Most of them are in the illegal lending business such as 5/6 so are easy prey. So it isn't profitable for them to come and settled here as they don't have the business acumen to compete with us Chinese.

Bringing out the big guns. Even if the US were to help, any non-naval US vessel would not match up well.

The CCG ship is about 500 yards away from the PCG ship at Sabina, keeping an eye on them because it's carrying construction materials. As previously mentioned, the Filipinos might try to rush over to Second Thomas from here instead of coming from Palawan, in the hopes of moving faster than any Chinese response.

Dislodging the PH ship should be a priority. Just keeping an eye is not enough. If that ships stays there for months, then eventually it will probably become a permanent base.

might try?

The Philippines has already acknowledged that the presence of the BRP Teresa Magbanua on "Xiānbīn Jiāo" is to act as a transit outpost for resupplying the BRP Sierra Madre. China can now justify and plan a counter to reclaim and build a permanent outpost to protect China sovereignty.

Plan perhaps after typhoon season.

.

Escoda Shoal serves as the rendezvous point for Filipino vessels involved in resupply missions to naval troops stationed at BRP Sierra Madre, which was grounded in nearby Ayungin Shoal.
