It's year of the Dragon right now.Wasn't the year of the Tiger a "good" year to get married?
What do you think happened and how does this compare with other countries?

What does that even mean? What is "sustained growth near the replacement rate"? That you need to be growing very slowly, can't be too fast, can't be stable? What's that the key to and why's that the key?The key isn't high population growth but rather sustained growth near the replacement rate.
No, that's unsupported and imaginary. America's "growth" is coming from all the wrong places. Its educated and well-to-do contributors to modern society and technology are very poor at reproducing while the lower class, minorities, immigrants, illegal immigrants, criminals reproduce like wildfire. You ask an American computer engineer how many kids he has and he says 0, not even married and 45 years old. You ask a street thug with a dew-rag, pants pulled down half an inch above his junk and a glock in his back pocket and he says he has 8 kids all from different baby mamas. Ask an illegal standing outside Home Depot for cash gigs and he has 5 with another on the way. China also has the first problem, but not the second one. So while China is in danger of population decline, America is in danger of having the country be hijacked by the lower class, the criminals, and the non-Americans.No developed country is great at this but the US has the best outlook of all the major countries.
One of the biggest myth about mass immigration is that they will somehow adopt the host country culture and values when in reality they change the host country to become similar to their native country as more and more of their own fellows pour in, in some cases for good or in other cases for worse. What does that even mean? What is "sustained growth near the replacement rate"? That you need to be growing very slowly, can't be too fast, can't be stable? What's that the key to and why's that the key?

Yes, but if all the sudden 30% of the population in the US is Chinese you will have more than a Chinatown, that will create a significant culture, values and political shift. Well, also US PISA scores will increase. It depends on how you handle immigration. If you let them build enclaves, yes that will happen. A Little Italy or a Chinatown.
