That's Yi Fuxian -- known for believing that China's population is (or was) 1.28b people instead of 1.4b people. He appears to be a bit of a crank with a pet idea he touts whenever given the chance. I would give his theories more consideration if they had broader academic support. For now, it's just some extraordinary claims by a single guy. Worth keeping an eye on I suppose.I do not agree with this article for like 95% because to much US narrative and ball sucking but if this is true than the demographic collapse will worsen manyfold. Even stabilization is not in sight of the birth rate.
