ROC Coast Guard doesn't seem to have water cannons on board their ships either. What they had were a bunch of people using fire hoses on Japanese vessels.
CMS only has four ships with more than 3000t displacement, but they have the most large cutters (>1000t) at 26. In comparison Coast Guard only has three large cutters, same with FLEC but it has two 20,000t PLAN replenishment ships under its name. With the current plan going China's law enforcement fleet will double in the coming two to three years.
Nonsense. The chinese ships had not been spray by water canon from the Japanese side does not mean that the Japanese will not do it. And who say little countries must be careful in getting physical with bigger countries? Don't ever forget that behind Japan, there is a US and nobody know what the US would or would not do yet.
Plus at the time of the water canons started spraying, the mainland Chinese government ships are not around. While the Japanese coast guards are not actually spraying water at ROC coast guards, but the fishing boats.
Finally, if the Japanese are spraying water at the Chinese fishing boats, what is the CHinese going to do about it even when a government ship is near? I think the Chinese will response in kind like the ROC, and they will be spraying water back.
CMS has 50 and 83. MSA has 11 and 31. It is also getting the 5000 ton haixun-01 soon. FLEC has a couple of large ones also, although I don't know the exact tonnage. They also have the replenishment ship as hmmwv said.
I thought that was weird. Taiwan coast guard are definitely overmatched then. And I don't think the Japanese really give a toss about offending the Taiwan leadership, at least not as much as when facing the mainland side.
They can confiscate toyota's factory in China. What are the Japanese going to do about it ?

Investors from nations who do not spray water on Chinese ships have nothing to worry about. Why would anyone be dumb enough to invest in a country and then go pick a fight with them ?
