I hope China fills all of its silos with DF-41s armed with 10 warheads.

Of course, my guess was accurate. That's because I know that China's got a fever... and the only prescription... is more silos.

That's true in the sense that you could do grocery shopping in a Lambo, but you generally don't. The reasons are that the Lambo is overengineered for the task and the limitations as a result of its optimization for vroom-vroom leave much cheaper options more capable.
No, you left out "new silos are for some kind of brand new solid fuelled ICBM." The DF-45 is not an upgrade to the DF-41, it's a new design optimized for silo launching.
Those people at FAS keep complaining about China's nuclear arsenal increase but they still haven't been able to make a reasonable argument on why China shouldn't increase their arsenal to the thousands. Also looked through Hans Kristensen's and Jeffrey Lewis' twitter feeds and they rarely mention India despite their massive relative increase as well.

Obviously China need more nuclear warheads but this is also great for deterring minnows like australia who openly talked about going to war with China over taiwan
