Okay, second try.

Except, no. 90% of US trade is contained within the Western Hemisphere.

That is actually not true.

, no less, in June 2021 China and Japan constituted $404 billion of the US's $2176.9 billion foreign trade, or 18.6%. So the US did 81% of its trade with other than these two countries, and likely less than 50% with other nations in the Western Hemisphere. Perhaps you counted China and Japan part of the West, which almost no one else does -- and if you did, you certainly weren't honest enough to specify how your personal vocabulary differed from the norm.

I have to wonder what else you are wrong about.

All I can say its definitely hurting me in the wallet and I get sticker shocks even when I go fast food for a cheap meal. I get sticker shocks when I go to the grocery and when I go to the supermarket. Everyone around me is noticing it. I see plenty of restaurants have closed and those who remain are jacking up their prices while having fewer and overworked employees.
I feel you, if this is a just supply issue, the problem could be solve itself as supply comeback. But if this is a excess liquidity issue because the central banks massive stimulus programs then we have a big problem because the only solution for countries is to rise rates, cut spending, take the economic hit and see asset bubbles explode like fireworks. There are other options but those require global collaboration.

Yea like 70%+ of US trade is outside of the Western Hemisphere. This Indian is incompetent and innumerate in the most pathetic and boring ways. Just his low class nature.

Every comment of his people have looked up end up finding that his factoids were beyond stupid, usually in fact completely opposite in truth.

...
Now this is China semiconductor thread NOT a China hate thread or you either stay on topic or GTFO of this thread.
Where are the moderators?

Instead of complaining why I and other mods are not hanging around in every section of this forum and read all the fuss, there is a simple option just below your post:

Therefore, next time simply report a certain post but please keep in mind I have neither the ability nor time and especially not the mood to hang around in these anyway politically infected threads.

The US isn't in panic, it's in response hase.
What is "response hase?" What are you making words up now like Trump? LOL
It also sabotages the growth rates
Quality growth over absolute growth. Growth dependent on others is a house of cards; growth built on self-dependency is a house of steel.
Except no. Resources spent on one item can't be spent on another and trade improves total output.
Except your junk is always either pointless or wrong. That's obvious that resources spent here can't be spent elsewhere; that argument goes nowhere. If you spend it there, then you can't spend it here either! The correct place to spend it is on self-sufficient high tech.
Except if GDP was banana republic, US tech bans wouldn't be coercieve.
LOLOL What?? You are arguing to be a low tech country so others can't tech ban you??? Not only is that stupid, it doesn't even work! Banana republic means you only produce low tech goods, not that you only need low tech goods. A tech ban would crush a banana republic in an instant. But it wouldn't even come to that because banana republics are no threat to anyone.
Money and tech growth are syonymous.
No they're not; that's why they're different words. Arabic nations flush with oil money develop no indigenous technology and buy everything. They would be destroyed by any tech ban.
No, they will stop doing business with China
No, they'll try to bifurcate into using both systems to deal with both, then seeing China outgrow the US, deal with China instead
From substantially lower bases
It's not even that substantial anymore; it was a few years back but China's PPP is ahead of the US and its nominal GDP is basically 3/4ths America's.
It was a Japanese push-piece to get more funding
They didn't make up the numbers.
Development cycles shockingly take time
That's a non-response. You said the US doesn't want hypersonics and I proved you wrong because they are trying to develop them. Development cycles don't affect the argument.
Nope, the US will just import more people and let higher US birth rates do the talking.
Then let them do the talking instead of your imagination. Right now, real trends are that China has a population 4x that of the US and it doesn't need to reach per capita parity to have a larger economy and more resources for national development. That's fact; what you say is hope.
No, the US is successfully driving China's trend growth rates into the ground
This ground must be in a skyscraper. The US has no numbers that can compare.
More paper pushing corrupt bureaucrats
More denial of facts to protect your fantasy
Because it's already been built
Slower because it's already built? Doesn't make sense. China builds its navy faster. There's no debate.
Huawei is only a shell kept alive by MOF subsidies
Huawei still earns a profit and that's unbelievable to American mega-corps on bailout support so they have alll sorts of copium on Huawei but never any evidence.

Just look at IMF IV reports
Post them here. IMF means International monetary fund to me; they don't talk about IRBMs.
America is the slaveholder
And China is the rising champion to dispell the evil.
China invents the same wheel and in the same time, SWE and FIN, two US slaves, push further
The same wheel except better than either Nokia or Ericsson. They can't push like China.
Wouldn't matter. MOre theatrics
American people setting their own country and capital on fire is theatrics. OK, billions of dollars worth, in a show of mass defiance but whatever you need to tell yourself to pretend that "everyone's loyal" LOL
Who cares? Violence is America's modus operandi. MOrtality that is 10K higher doesn't matter in the long run
If you don't care, then why are you complaining that America isn't oppressive enough? LOL (I've literally never heard another person stupid enough to say something like that.) Having the crime rate sky high matters. It shows that large portion of the people of America don't stand with the government and they are not loyal. When they achieve things, they are likely to sell to the highest bidder rather than think about national interest.
Yeah, again theatrics while the bureaucracy and Congressional committees churn.
Churn slowly and deadlock, get the government to shut down multiple time, etc... It's working, but slowly while China works quickly and efficiently.
Nature Springer
That's not a response that means anything. Post a link.
Nope. All the economic reforms (minority inclusion, removing single-family zoning, tax cuts, deregulation, community college and childcare access, infrastructure and research/development) are going to set the economy on fire more than it already is
The only fires in America are forest fires in California. Those and the ones that you imagine for the future.
No, AMerican science is superior and moving faster. The US publishes more papers that actually get citations
I just showed that that was barely true in 2017... 4 years ago, and China improves every year. On top of that, all Chinese science is conducted by Chinese people while American science is in large conducted by foreigners with scattered allegience.
The US is the most successful nation because it is the most violent and treacherous country, built on slavery, genocide and theft and it is *beautiful*.
To sick people who dream of being able to bully others because they're tired of being weak all their lives, that may be beautiful, but to balanced people without hate fantasies, China's rise and overtake of the US (in many parameters already with comprehensive overtake on the horizon) from its own talent and abilities is the beautiful light that will cut through America's darkness.
