@manqiangrexue bro I don't want to comment regarding Chinese American cause I don't live there, BUT I can relate. In my youth I was slated to represented my country the Philippine in Taekwondo and I'm elated and so are my parent, family members and relatives. It was my dream to represent my adopted country and my father wish as a payback, the courtesy my adopted country afforded to us. So sorry bro I may disagree, It is hard to be a minority in a foreign country, the hate , the discrimination, it can destroy you BUT it can also make you a better person and I learned that aside from my late father advise but also after receiving support from my Filipino teammate and Taekwondo community after suffering an injury that ended my career.
You must know that sort of famous Filipino Taekwondo star Del Rosario? I didn't realize @ansy1968 you're not only bright but pretty deadly as well.

True stop smearing nathan . Inspite of being rich he has achieved much that the people here in this forum have no way of reaching. He truly is talented so we can forgive him for whatever he says off the ice rink.
If Nathan Chan had Gu’s mom, he would have had the strategic foresight to represent China in this Olympics, and made millions from endorsements.

Nathan Chen's parents are prob gusanos
Rumor has it that his dad contemplated pulling a Eileen Gu but was dissuaded by the worsening geopolitical climate. Rumor also has it that he is kicking himself now.
Must be butthurt. Was a good chance to extend his fortunes.

@Bellum_Romanum he is my senior 8 years ahead and for me he is not the best, there is one, I will explain to you later. Bro the exhilarating feeling when you spar or fight in a contest and knockout an opponent by an AXE Kick or a bullet kick combine with a round house kick, I mean you can fight legally without fear of retaliation in the street is amazing...lol BUT there is one practitioner I admired the most that help me develop my kicking skill to supplement my Sanda skill and the reason why I was addicted to the sport of Taekwondo, my mentor, a friend ,an Olympian Mr Stephen Fernandez. When I was injured after winning a qualifier, that injury need surgery IF I want to be part of the team and due to time constraint it will be impossible. Due to that I just quit and Mr Fernandez was the one who supported me to regain my confidence and try again BUT at that time I was old (21 years old) and need to work to earn my keep.
