Yes he said it because he quote section on GT that said rim driven propeller will be on new submarine IT IS CONTEXT! capicci

You guys need reading comprehension
Where did you go for your high school?

No, he didn't say that. That's YOUR interpretation. Which is wrong, BTW.

Iron Man said "Adm. Ma didn't say XYZ". He did not say "XYZ will never happen".

Let me make it clear to you:
Saying person A didn't say XYZ ≠ Saying XYZ will not happen

Wait wait wait, did you think when Iron Man said "Adm. Ma said no such thing", he meant "Adm. Ma said the rimdrive project didn't exist"????

If you thought that, ummm... I'm just gonna let you know that's not how English works.

When Iron Man said "no such thing", he meant "Adm. Ma did not say *whatever Global Times said* in his interview".

No, Hendrik. The one with crappy English comprehension here is you. You ACTUALLY thought Iron Man meant "XYZ didn't exist".....

You actually thought that, my god...

I didn't even know that sort of misinterpretation was possible because, where I live, the "no such thing" phrase is used every day in a way that is completely not what you think it is used for. I guess wherever you're from, they don't use it very much.

I mean, your English is obviously non-native level, but this is comedic levels of misinterpretation.

Hendrik, I think your terribad English can no longer be used as an excuse here. We must reach for something far more fundamental to you....

I am engineer with many years of experience and I wrote all kind of highly technical and precise specification in english that leave no room for mis interpretation And I never had complain. I do have poor typing skill so sometime you misinterpret that as non native. I went to english speaking university for your information and passed with flying color

And you haven't even start working and you dare to comment on my english?

Of course I dare, your English is so bad you started an entire page of arguments because of your misinterpretation. Here, let me make it clear to you again:

"he said no such thing" = "he didn't say what you think he said"

"he said no such thing" ≠ "he said that thing didn't exist"

You thought Iron Man opted for the second option, which confused me and literally everyone else because we never even thought of that as an option. It's so far removed from how English is used that it would never occur to us someone could possibly make that bad of a misinterpretation.

And you need to look into yourself too with all the negative comment on anything China.

He DID. That IS plain simple English.... TO US.

Literally everyone says that to me, and I say that to everyone every day. It's extremely plain English. I'm assuming you don't live in an English-speaking country so you're not as knowledgeable about how English speakers express themselves on a daily basis.
