The fact it says "CG" is kind of indicative... It's similar to previous CGs we've seen. But the inclusion of 100 mm guns are weird. I dont' think any large LHAs or CVs use DP guns these days.

I'm confused.
Does anyone know what context these two models are being shown in? Cause the hhg called it "export version LHD," which while not technically unfeasible, sounds unlikely that PRC will allow their shipyards to export a ship type which they themselves do not operate. But on the right you can see the "S20 submarine" which looks a lot like yuan (two ships not necessarily to scale)
Not to mention the LHD model looks very similar to the drawing a few posts up, actually it seems to be identical... Hmm can anyone else shed light?

to be honest they look pretty shabby, probably some fanboy dream
however Turkey is working with Chinese shipyards for designs and feasibility studys on LPD/LHD, they are also working with South Korea so models could emerge from that co-operation but i doubt it

hsh saw these models at the defence exhibit and he put something together. It's not a secret than China has been trying to export submarines, lhd/lpd recently, so it shouldn't be surprising that they brought some kind of design over to showcase. It will be a while before we see what the real thing looks like if Thai Navy decides to put an order in.
