But it seems your arithmetic is a off in some way:
If JNXC started the first in mid 2015 and launched it mid 2017, it takes them two years from start to launch. It was the same with the second one, only they started a year later. But it sounds like you agree that work began on a third once the first drydock was free, so that another will be launched mid 2019. If the pattern repeats with the other drydock, this means a fourth will come from JNXC in 2020, so that they are doing one per year by themselves.
Meanwhile, if Dalian started their two boats concurrently in August 2016 and put them in the water in July 2018, it amounts to more or less the same rate: one ship per year (or slightly more). Following the same procedure, there should be another two out from Dalian in 2020, and this makes a total of 8 in four years.
I highly doubt that Dalian will lay the keel for simultaneous construction of next two Type 055
There is 2 x Type 052D infront of the dry dock where the Type 055 were sitting
Until they are launched they won’t build 2 more units in the same position othewise how can they launch the 2 x Type 052D ? Their access will be blocked
