First ever sneak peek of the now-launched 052-mod cutter from the ground level, with a Type 382 radar seen mounted on top of the mast superstructure. A 052DG DDG is being fitted out beside it.

The choice of a Type 382 radar seems pretty interesting. That's a full on military-grade air search radar, far more powerful than anything else I can think of a cutter using. Without SAMs I'm not sure what the point is. Maybe just the ship had excess power and they figured why not?
With data links your can pass the air picture the 382 radar will generate to other assets, being a coast guard vessel will make sending it out much less escalatory.
The 26th 052DG has obtained her pennant #135. Rumored to be named Dazhou, commissioning into active service shouldn't be far off.

达州 in the Sichuan province? Interesting. A prefectural municipality with more than 5 millions residents. It does not seem to have much historical significance in connection with CPC though.
Dalian's 1st 052DG of the latest (4th) batch moored in the sunset. She's expected to join the PLAN after her equivalent counterpart in Jiangnan.
