This is crazy. Even CCG is getting 052D sized vessels.
It's not that crazy, they already have 055-sized vessels.
Is that the same one as this?
No? 055 is significantly larger displacement (12,000 tons) compared to 052D (7,500 tons).
CCG 2901 and 5901 are both 12,000-ton cutters. US calls it Zhaotou-class.
