Re: DDG 052C Thread

They seemed knowing where 4 new 052C+'s to go?

近日看见几个军坛某些大神说:新区4艘(172.173.140.141)之后,大区就会上船台,好像也是4艘一样,就是不知具体时间,哪位大大可以解惑?

Sorry, Google "great" translation:

Recently, a few military forums to see some of the great God said: District 4 (172.173.140.141), the region will be on board units, as also the four did, that I do not know the specific time and which can greatly doubts?

Re: DDG 052C Thread

If that is true then it would appear that we will see two units go to the South Sea fleet and two to the East Sea fleet giving each of those two fleets six modern destroyers, based on the numbering convention to date. Once again though that leaves the Northern fleet short of destroyers, perhaps we will see another bespoke class constructed for that fleet?

Re: DDG 052C Thread

Recent information is that 140 and 141 will go to the 6th Destroyer Flotilla, Dinghai, in the East Sea Fleet, 172 and 173 to 2nd Destroyer Flotilla, Zhanjiang, in the South Sea Fleet.

An interesting set of photos of new ship designs, 173 and 117, which are probably Types 052C+ and 051C+, was put on the internet a couple of months ago. Both have a new air search radar as the only significant visible upgrade.

If 117 represents a genuine project for an updated LUZHOU (LUHAI II) class, then we might expect two for the North Sea Fleet. However, we would probably know if, indeed, they had already ordered another two Rif-M (export version of Fort-M/S-300FM, alias SA-N-20) from Russia.

Re: DDG 052C Thread

So it will be a new version? will it be an enlarged 052c, as refered in huitong´s site?

sorry, I can't tell you any thing yet, and I think no one knows yet, but she should be larger than 052B and 052C.
so,I only call her 052x now.
