While some of the specs may likely be true, I think one thing that is almost for certain is all future class of China's naval ships will most definitely have 'Link 16' like communications and data network infrastructure.

Add a Type 093 SSN in there with the carrier and...presto...CarrierStrike Group!
This of course presumes they get the two squadrons of J-15s on the carrier sometime soon.
Very nice indeed. Those Type 054As and the Type 052Cs are looking very good together. Right there you have the surface escorts necessary to accompany the Lianoing.Japan is going to face a stronger East Sea Fleet of China

The lineup is 6 Destroyer Flotilla at Dinghai-Yadangshan (3 Destroyer Flotilla with the SOVREMENNYY's is at Dinghai-Yancang). It will not be fit to constitute a carrier escort until the LUDA 133 and 134 have been replaced by Type 052C and until it has acquired another pair of 054A's to replace the 053H3's.
But there will not be a carrier in East Sea Fleet in the foreseeable future (meaning within the next 15 years).

That is a stunning shot no yes those DDG look like they have a darker grey camo scheme which makes them look so sexy!!
I love the way the JMSDF colours are, they look simply awesome
And this is only probably less than half the advanced surface fleet, there is probably going to be 8 FFG and 4 DDG eventually in ESF, maybe even more

I certainly did not mean that those vessels right there in the ESF would constitute a CSG escort...only that a couple of Type 052Cs and a couple of Type 054As can constitute it...wherver the PLAN ultimately bases the Liaoning.
Simply speaking, the PLAN now has enough of each vessel, either already in service or soon to be, to put together that group...but will still need to constitute the airwing of the Liaoning before it will make much sense in any case.
