This engagement took place in the first week of November, and could be the source of the Lancet drone videos. An interesting mention is the use of Outpost-R drones, not usually something you hear. Maybe we are going to hear more about it in the future.
The offensive of the Armed
Forces of Ukraine near Kherson bogged down after the attack of drones: details p. Pravdino (23 km west of Kherson) in the Berislav direction. Before sending the armored group, the Armed Forces of Ukraine struck with M777A2 and FH70 guns of 155 mm caliber from Shevchenkov and Novogrigorivka.
However, it was not possible to support the offensive with fire throughout the entire stage: two hours after the start of the movement of the AFU equipment, the Su-25SM3 attack aircraft struck back at the positions of the M777A2 and FH70 howitzers.
After the air strike, the Armed Forces of Ukraine stopped their offensive on the southern border of the Kherson and Nikolaev regions and threw into battle units dispersed along the Novaya Kamenka-Polyanka-Sablukovka arc, 120 km from Kherson.
An attempt to break into the first line of defense of the RF Armed Forces in the area of Sablukovka, Kachkarovka and Sukhanov was supported by Czech RM-70 MLRS and Polish self-propelled guns Krab of the 406th separate artillery brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. An hour after the start of the offensive, the positions of the AHS Krab self-propelled guns were detected from a drone and destroyed by two attacks of Lancet-3 drones, after which the artillery support for the offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine ceased.
At least a company of T-72M1 tanks of the 17th tank brigade, two motorized infantry companies of BMP-2 and The M113 armored personnel carrier of the 60th separate mechanized brigade, as well as at least ten Turkish Kirpi armored vehicles of the 128th mountain assault brigade.
After the detection of equipment from the Orlan-30 drone, the Giacint-B self-propelled guns and the Malka special-powered guns worked out on the marching columns of the Armed Forces of Ukraine from the artillery arm of Gornostaevka on the left bank of the Dnieper.
An hour after the offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine stopped, 8 km from Sukhanov and Pyatikhatki, Mi-28N helicopters with Arbalet overhead radars and Ataka missiles attacked the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The T-90M tanks also took part in repelling the attack. The vehicles were used as a distant arm of the ground forces: tank crews received data on the movements of the Armed Forces of Ukraine from the Orlan-10 and Outpost-R drones.
The 128th mountain assault brigade and the 46th airmobile brigade suffered the heaviest losses. These formations were thrown into battle on VAB and Husky TSV light armored personnel carriers. After the artillery attack of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine retreated, losing 25 and 18 people, respectively.
