The deal itself, however, is most certainly real and will happen without external interference.

Did you mean to say that "it will happen if there is no external interference"?

Because I think it's unlikely the U.S. will passively allow this deal proceed without interference.

Well, the MOD spokesperson actually said the ’export’ of the J-10CE is fake news, I’m not sure why Global Times is reporting it as ‘delivery’ of the J-10CE is fake news.

A brief summary:
Q(Journalist): Some Egyptian local media say Egypt has received first batch of J-10CE. Could you tell more about this? Are these the first few of Chinese fighters that Arabic countries received? Thank you.

A(Spokesman): I noticed relevant media reports about exporting J-10CE to Egypt. THESE REPORTS are inconsistent with the facts. They're completely fake news.

I think spokesman only denied the media reports, not the export deal itself? Maybe the reports Q&A both referenced are mainly about delivery but not the deal? Also Global Times' reference is quite interesting, only neatly denied the delivery but not the deal.

IMO we should not concentrate on the word games. Let's wait for more news to come.

I didn't pick up this picture the fist time I saw it. But I seems that there are two Al-Battar series bombs here: Al-Battar 500 and Al-Battar 2000. I suppose that's 500lbs and 2000lbs bombs respectively. Although the Chinese news of these keep on saying that Al-Battar is Pakistani version of GBU-12 (500lbs PGM). However, an article on Quwa.org is saying that the two "weigh around 240 kg and 925 kg, respectively", which, from the naming point of view, does make sense.

So, If the Pakistani Forces are showcasing these not with the purpose of misleading people, this could mean that the J-10 is capable of carrying 1000kg/2000lbs level munitions on at least one of its pylons. This should also make sense for that J-10CE unit in Zhuhai airshow recently, which has that AT-730 look-alike TER with three 250kg PGMs (which should weight around 850 to just under 1000kg together).

I wonder how heavy these TERs are. The most similar thing is the French AT-730 on Rafale, which I can NOT find and specs on the internet for some reason. The American TER-9/A Mod seems to be 105lbs from their manufacturer's product spec sheets, but that's different design which is a lot smaller and minimalist.

Bru 57 is a wide design though for two bombs and weighs 265 lb.
So I would say this bulky triple carriage design might be in the 300-400 lb bracket.
